Here is evidence that ambition and talent, not to mention she had astonishing beauty, are key ingredients to stardom. Like several of the Mickey Mouse Club prodigies, including Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Justin Timberlake, Christina Milian gained recognition on the Disney Channel, but with a twist; with sights set high, she declined the role of Mousekateer to be a junior journalist on Disney's Movie Surfers, which was just the beginning. While her acting career was off to a riveting start, she began her break through into the R&B / pop charts with her brilliant gift as singer, dancer and songwriter. By the end of 2004, she already had four solo top ten singles in the UK, as well as hits in the US and Europe.
