Valeria began modelling at age 16, after she was discovered by hairstylist Roberto Giordano in Argentina. She appeared in Sports Illustrated swimsuit editions 1996-1997. In 1998 Valeria co-hosted the Italian television show "Domenica In" and appeared in the film "Paparazzi". She hopes to become a teacher having completed a three-year course in teaching children with disabilities.
